Step Mothers are they really disliked?

I'm a new step mom to 5 kids. The adjustment has been so hard. They are all teenagers and pretty set in their ways so I have to work around what they have been taught. Their home life is so different then what I taught my girls. My step kids never had sheets on their beds? I make them put them on but they don't understand why. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should adjust?

Welll its like adjusting to a new jog. You cant go into a new job and think that everything will be the same as the old one. You have to sit down and notice the differnce in their lifestyle and before you change it make them understand why. Sometime they wont like it becasue it is differnt but sometimes they will adjust to it. Make it easy on them and yourself and start from the beginning which is getting to know them.
