Do you run a business on eBay?

All I do is sell off the odd random item. Does anyone have a profitable business on eBay? Is it your full time job?

I only sell outdated inventory on Ebay, I do it every 6 months only. It's not a lot of money but still something.

I have not yet tried selling stuff on ebay but I'm really considering doing it. I mean, I have a lot of things that I might be able to unload and getting rid of them so they're not clutting up the house would be excellent. I'll probably try selling some things this summer.

I have made some decent money on ebay, but it is in NO way a full time business for me. I think the most I made in a month was $400, and that can't replace my current income. It's also a hassle to package things up, get to the post office, etc. i don't plan on having it replace my career, but when I find things around the house I don't need anymore, I sell them.

I sell custom made doll clothes on ebay. It's not a full time business, but I am hoping to build it into one. I make clothes for American Girl and Bitty Baby dolls. I think to make a business work on ebay you have to build up your sales and get repeat customers. Hopefully this will only get better.
