Have you ever thought your job sucked? I know I did at times, but then I would think how lucky I am to have a job and one where I am safe and in a clean environment.
My dad was riding his bike in the park the other day and he said he saw a job he would never ever want.
He saw a man cleaning out the porta-potties (portable toilets). This man had a long tube hose with a suction and he had to go in there and just suck all the stuff out of the toilet. Blech!
What do you think would be the worse job ever?

I don't remember what country it was and I'm not sure if it was in Africa or the middle east. But they have a class tier society. And if you're in the lowest class, there are few jobs you can take. One of them is cleaning the sewers by hand without protective gear. I think I saw it in a National Geographic. It was absolutely disgusting.

The worst job would be i think where you are not respected or your self-esteem is not valued or where the
person currently holding a postion doesnt feel satisfied for his job postion ,,,,that is where the true meaning of worse job comes into the picture,,,,nuthing is harmful as losing your self respect and self -esteem...

Any job that has to do with cleaning up any kind of bodily waste has to be the worst job. Of course this doesn't apply to Mom's who always get the diaper, throw up duty. I gues it's okay if it's family, YUCK

No, i dont think i would want to do that - what would happen if something went wrong and it exploded all over the place!!
Something along similar lines.. the person who helps out with colonic irrigation.
come to think of it - ANYTHING to do with toilets and the waste that goes down them.

I butchererd Kosher chickens that was the worst job ever holding the chicken while the rabbi slit its windpipe then getting blood and dung all over me as I passed it up the line. Then they would give me two ten minute breaks and a 30 min lunch. I would spend all the time cleaning to eat.

That is a bad job!! Yuck!!
The other day I was passing an open pasture on my way to check on our horses, there was a guy that had the back of a dump truck lifted all the way up. He was standing in the back of the truck with a shovel, scraping out the contents, and gagging and vomiting the whole time. What was he spreading out? Chicken manure.

i once had dinner in this restaurant with a japanese buffet and there's this huge-ish bowl of lemon juice (fresh lemon juice) to use as sauce for the sushi. i thought what if that was your job, to squeeze lemons all day long to be able to provide the sauce?
of course i do realize that it's nothing compared to the grossness of the jobs that you described, but at the time, this was the job that i'd least prefer. :)
i currently work for an airline as a flight attendant and it's okay so far. however there's the price passenger, of course that's so rude, screams bloody murder if you do something wrong, like give him the wrong drink or something. i think in every job, there's a very bad downside. :)

I always thought that any job where you breathe in polluted air all day had to be the worst job ever. Examples: toll booth collector, coal miner. They have lung problems, higher incidences of cancer, and it has to affect their skin, doesn't it? I always smile and say hello when I go through a toll booth because I think that they might need a smile from a passerby more than the average joe.

I agree. I wouldn't want one of those jobs. That is nice that you give them a smile. I try to do the same as well.

That is pretty bad. I was watching Dirty Jobs last night and the guys was cleaning some nasty stuff. He had trouble breathing through it. I have seen so many job on that show that are nasty. I hope they pay well! But you have to do something to pay the bills.
