Do you RV? What is the best RV on the market to full time in?

Our family is in the process of selling off everything, buying an RV and living on the road exploring God's beautiful country.
We were tossed as to what type of RV to buy. We bounced back and forth between class A and C and then started looking into 5th wheels. We fell in love with the Fleetwood Regal 5 slide 5th wheel with the awesome living room with fireplace, it is the bomb, as the kids like to say, LOL
What RV type do you prefere? What is the best, well made full time RV? Is 5th wheel better to full time in than a class A or C? Why do you like/dislike your RV?

I don't recamend it. I live in a 1989 Honey class A motor home. I hate it! I want a house and property. This thing is not big enough for my husband and I. It's 37 feet long and fully loaded, but still not enough. We have been living in it for a year so far while we try to get up the money to buy a house.
If your looking to travel, look at the gas milage. That will eat you up! Ours got 5 to 6 miles per gallon. Are your kids going to travel with you? Would you be able to keep them occupied in a truck (they can't ride in the 5th wheel by law) while traveling from one place to the next?
It's a big change, and it is fun for a few months. But I've found it gets old rather fast.
From my husband: Class A or 5th wheel is the way to go. If you decide on a class A you will need to have a car to tow behind it. With a 5th wheel you can just unhook the truck and go.

I would suppose that full timing is not for many people. Personaly I can tell you I could not do it in something as old as what you have, as you said, not enough room. I don't think they had slides back then and the slides make it so much roomier. We looked at a Fleetwood Regal a few weeks ago at an RV show and up to that point, every RV we walked into I was sating, "I'm not so sure I can do this". However when we stepped into that Regal, I said, "Oh yeah, this is sweet, I CAN do this in this beauty"!!! I think the resaons behind doing it matter too. We will be doing this for a few reasons, one, to give the kids an even better history and geography education, two, to further God's kingdom through our Ministry, and three, to further our own income by working gourd shows around the country. So I believe this will work for our family. This has beenb a dream for our entire family for about four years now, and we are ready. All we need now is that awesome 5th wheel and a truck to pull her.
Thanks so much for your response and for sharing your feelings about RV'ing full time with me. I wish you the best in finding your home and property. I know all too well how misserable life can be when your living arraingements are not comfortable for you. Good luck!
