Mine is and will always be "Always on my Mind"...never get tired of listening to it. Remember that one ycanteye? Also like "The Highwayman" he did with Johnny, Kris and Waylon....still hard to believe Waylon and Johnny are singing with the angels now :(

Another one I really like is Seven Spanish Angels. He and Ray Charles do a heck of a job on that one. Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground is another one of my favorites.

Sammi Smith had a hit with his "Help Me Make It Through The Night." Also, he probably generated more cash from Elvis from the songs he wrote than everything else added up. The reason I found this out was because Elvis would have been 73 8 days ago (as of this response.)
