A guy from the recruitment angency I went and saw last week rang me up last night and asked if I wanted him to pass on my CV to a company...I said yes and they want to interview today! Pretty short notice, so feeling a little nervous! I dont think I do very well in interviews because I hate talking about myself and my mind just goes blank lol But I have a few sort of sample answers planned out, hopefully I do alright!

I just wanted to check what happened at the interview? Did you get a positive response? I also went to a recruitment agency for wipro but they said I need to improve my communication skills and wanted me to pay 500S to get training under them, I smelled rat and came back. Is it a common practice with recruitment companies.

How did it go? What sort of job was it, or is that too private? My account was on pause for a while, so I don't know.

Hey, goodluck! I hope you nail the interview and get the job. I know how you feel about the interview. When I was applying for my present job I also had the jitters but I just tried some deep breathing exercises and it calmed me down. Just do some research about the company you're applying to and you'll be just fine.

Oh I do hope you have some news by now juicemilk and I know that the waiting can be a little stressful. If you don't get this one, then it was not meant to be and there will be a better job waiting around the corner for you I am sure. One good thing is that you will, or should, not be competing with school leavers. Part of the reason for quick interviews is that often employers go through an Agency, they want to fill the position quickly - just in case it is listed with more than one agency. I know that when I was interviewing I would space them out a little bit during the day, and also taking into account that some people had to come after work rather than during working hours. But I would firstly limit the number of applicants I would see because too many gets confusing. Then I would see say a maximum of 4 per day on the first interview, and the reason was that it gave me time to absorb what had been said as well as the nuances etc. Of course this meant that if I had to see say 6 people, then I wanted them slotted in over no more than 2 days. I am talking about when I was interviewing people for Admin type jobs rather than in the factory, as they were much easier and I would see one about every 15 minutes. :)

We haven't heard from you since this was posted juicemilk, so I am hoping that it is all good news and that you did get the job. Oh well, I guess we will have to wait till you return to find out how things went. Having said that, if you didn't get then job, then that is the loss of the employer and something good will be waiting around the corner for you I am certain. :)
