Do you listen to music in different languages even though you may not understand what they are saying? I do. If you do, what kind do you listen to?

Hi there... I enjoy listening to music in Gaelic (Scots or Irish), Welsh, Spanish, French and Japanese. I think these are the five coolest-sounding languages. BB, druidkat7

I listen to way too much Japanese music, and I don't really know any Japanese at all. It started just because I like anime, and anime has a lot of music in it, but it's gone beyond that now. I also listen to Celtic music, but I at least understand some of that, because my great-grandmother spoke Irish around me as a child.

I like experiencing music from all languages. Not only does it help me learn a thing or two, it also teaches me more about genres and styles. I'm getting into French rock and I'm looking up some Japanese bands. I already know one called Balzac. I think they are punk rock.
