How to Deal with Mom's Boy friend!

I have no idea how to deal with my mom's boyfriend! He is 78 years old and she is 54. He colects every kind of junk item you can imagine and calls them his treasures. We live on the same property because my husband and I can;t afford to move right now. Our yard has gone from very pretty to litterally a junk yard. He is rude and calls us names and is very disrespectful to all of us. I can't even spend time with my mother because he doesn't allow it. So I need some help here how do I deal with him?

First of all I am sorry and I feel for you because I am in pretty much the same situation. I cannot stand my mothers boyfriend he is also rude and disrespectful. He does not have a junk collection but he does think he is owed everything my mother has. He is such a gold digger. We live next door to my mother with about two acers of field separting our home from hers. I wish I could give you some really good advice about what to do about him but the truth is I have nothing. I have tried everything to get my mother to leave him but loneliness is a powerful thing. I just wanted you to know that there are people out her that understand and know what your going through I wish I could offer more. Best wishes..
