Have you ever felt so sleepy, you want to go to bed and sleep, but at the same time you're so comfortable where you are seated that you don't feel like getting up?
Gosh, it's the epitome of laziness! :D

I very often feel like that. I usually just lie on the sofa and switch on the tv, then I have a good snooze and miss the best part of the film. I think I would like to do that right now, although, I have switched off my heating, so that I won't fall asleep. I am going away for a few days and I need to do all my packing. Hopefully I will get a little sleep in the car while travelling.

I just went as far as Cork to stay with my son. The weather was great but I never got as far as the unpacking, as the room was very small and there was nowhere to hang clothes. I'm back now and the unpacking can wait until I am in the humour for doing it.

I don't usually fall asleep watching films, unless they're boring. Last time this happened to me, Kill Bill was on TV, I tried to watch it and fell asleep. Then they aired the second volume and I fell asleep again. You'd think all the action would wake me up :P
You're packing, going to some place nice maybe? I hate packing, BTW. Isn't it just annoying that you have to pack, fold your clothes neatly, consider what you'll need, what stays behind,... then travel. Then get to some place and unpack it all, figure where to store it. Then pack it all again, get home, unpack. Packing just makes me cringe! I wish I was one of those people who "travel light".

Funny, I hate sleeping when the weather is cold. I can't feel comfortable even under the sheets! I love to sleep when it's warm and sunny and look at the sun creating all sorts of shadows and glimmers on the furniture and walls. A few years back, I used to go to the beach all the time and I'd practically do nothing but sleep under the sun. Hehe. Then I got some weird sun spots and got spooked :|

You are so right, this is just laziness lol.
I feel that way frequently. I am just yawning and don't want to leave the place where I am. It's a dilema, I want to go to sleep and at the same time I want to continue what I am doing or I feel lazy to leave the chair or couch.

OMG, yes! This happens to me almost every evening when I watch the 11:00 news and part of some late night talk show. Then, I finally reach deep within myself, drag my rather large hind -end out of the chair and waddle to the bathroom to pee before bed. I get to the bedroom, set the alarm clock, turn down the covers and crawl in the bed. The minute my body hits the bed, my eyes open widely, my mind starts racing, I become fidgety and I lay awake for hours. Ever happen to you?

This used to happen to me when I worked at a job where I had a lot of overtime and worked extra days too. I can remember sitting on the couch where I had a view of the bedroom and thinking wistfully how nice it would be to be lying there. But it took so much effort to get up when I realized I still needed to brush my teeth and change clothes and set the alarm clock, etc.

Haha! That's very nicely put! It's exactly what I mean. And yes, the routine before going to sleep is a big turn off :)

Oh yes, a lot of times. Especially after eating a big lunch in the afternoon, oh my God, I just feel drowsy in my seat that I want to drowse off and sleep wherever I am. Not a good attitude huh!

That happens to me a lot, in fact, i'm going through it right now. It's really bad on weekends when I'm home and I'm pretty tired, but I'm sitting in the computer chair, really way too tired to move and go to bed.
