The best thing I've ever won is a colour wide screen television! I've won lots of little prizes like DVDs and CDs and I've also won money and vouchers! I used to love entering loads and loads of competitions, but now I'd rather spend the time here, as I haven't won anything for eons now! You lose the enjoyment and incentive out of entering competitions when you don't get anything to show for your time. I'll enter the occasional one or two but I certainly don't do it as much as I used to now.

I have entered competitions all my life .. tight from when I was a small child and tried every year to win the W H Smith Wind A Pony Competition ... throughout my childhood, adolescents, married years, divorced years and even now I hate to pass by a competition without filling in the forms ..
I used to do a lot of postal comepetitions but then had to stop buying all the stamps when I was put out of work .. so now I only complete online competitions ... I've had some very nice prize wins .. holidays, cash, gadgets etc .. but for some reason just lately all I'm winning is the 'also ran' prizes hahaha !!!

I enter sweepstakes, but have never won anything. The only thing that I have won is from local contests. I think I stand a better chance of entering local rather than larger ones.

Not very often to be honest, except for the football pools every week. I won £200.00 there once - but, sadly. not enough to give up work on!!I buy a national lottery ticket if it's a rollover week, but other than that, - not really. I wish you luck in yours.

Hi Rosie, in response to the national lottery, I have only ever had 4 numbers £83 on a non-rollover week, however when I had 4 numbers on a rollover week, the payout was only £33, so I think you are probably better off playing on a non-rollover week. Lots of luck

Sometimes, it all depends on the nature of the sweepstakes i.e the prizes you can win. If i get online emails then i'll fill in the form and register, but have not won anything yet. *fingers crossed* haha

Yes, I enter competitions on a regular basis!
I guess I have done for many years, in one form or another. The first type of competetions I ever entered, were radio competitions. Various types of different prizes can from entering, CD's, cinema tickets, cash etc. My biggest win from the radio was £400 a few Christmas's ago, which couldn't have come at a better time!
I then started to go on to magazine comps, I did the puzzles quite often, sending them off, but won didley squat! lol
These days I enter online competitions, I haven't won vast amounts over a 2 year period but what I have won has been most welcomed! I have had quite a few small prizes, from Amazon vouchers, DVD's, CD's, goodie bags, t-shirts, books and small cash prizes. Other bigger wins include, an i-pod nano, a PSP, spa break and a couple of nice hampers.
I visit ukwins quite often, that helps to keep me updated with newer UK comps and theprizefinder for all those competitions that are about to close.
