How do u deal with an envious ex?

My husband's ex is really pissing me off. They have a son together during their de-facto relationship and i absolutely adore his son. I dont even yell or be anything nasty to him. And i havent even met his ex though he sees her every fortnight when he send his son home. She's picking on me constantly whenever she manage to get through to the husband. And its like she doesnt even know me. And its not like i snatched him away from her. They were long separated before i came into the picture. My husband said he cant be bothered to retaliate because for all he knows, she's a pain that dont deserve his time of the day. How would u deal with such an ex?

sounds like she's jealous! As hard as it is - don't stoop down to her level ... it's not worth it

Just ignore her, remember, the more you deal with it, the more you`ll get involved. You`ll be like her.

yes, the best is to ignore her. i dont even speak to her at all. but it just irks me when she starts making comments about me to my husband and then he didnt do anything about it. i mean, it'd be nice if he could stand up for me :p
