Do people spend too much time and money on beauty?

Yes I believe so. According to a survey I read from one of the issues of Cosmopolitan magazine the beauty industry is very huge in revenues. People nowadays are always wanting to look good and be presentable. I think the best way to measure how much people spend on beauty is to look at ones income. If a huge chunk of that income goes to moisturizers,cosmetics, derma products then that goes to show that yes people do really spend much on beauty.

Yes, I believe some people do. I'm one of those people, I'm always buying hair products, makeup, moisturizers, etc. I spend way too much money on them too, just a habbit I guess. I also take too long to get ready. I spend about half and hour on my makeup because I tend to be a perfectionist sometimes, and then about an hour doing my hair ( on a good day ).
