just record all phone calls, if she is heard telling this person that she doesn't want to be harassed then it'll be good material. She should ask every time "who is this"? So it'll go on tape. Then she should say that she is taping all the calls. Go to Police, tell them that she is taping the calls because of this person. If you live in a civilized country you can possibly get justice... if you don't then move to a civilized country then you will get to moan at anything and everything and the natives will love you and give you social security money, house and everything. In the UK the more children you make the better off you are so think about it. If a politician goes after you in the UK and you get any proofs of it you get 50.000 UK pounds per interview you give to magazines and newspapers, maybe even more. You could even set him up to go near her then take photos and sell them to newspapers, in fact you could go to a newspaper even now and they'll tell you all you need to do to set this person up. If you are not taking ne solid steps in stopping him, than i guess you do not love ur friend.Beleive me If you really want to protect her or think that Politican is unnecessarily want to get married with ur gf, why you are waiting to are asking for help from people at online community. Launch an report in police station, contact local NGO's and otehr women welfare socities m sure that will be more fruitfull to ask for help. Don't wait man!!! why you afraid of politician, what at the most he can do!!! Just turn down the offer politely everytime he asks. I hope sometime soon he could move on. But I wonder, where do you live? I thought this kind of thing does not happen anymore? or it just happens in the movie

Your friend should change her number so that he won't be able to contact her anymore. She should also tell her parents. Keep the messages as proof, just because he's a politician doesn't mean he has the right to bother her and scare her.
