it depends on ther speed of your internet because if your internet is too slow your wireless connection tru internet is same. And also your wireless router. just check the capability of your wireless router.

Wifi is good. For me it's better than a dsl connection. We have a dsl connection before but we've changed it over wifi. It's better. I don't know why but it's faster on our dsl connection before. It's better because it has you don't need a telephone line to have an internet connection and it's cheaper also.

I have used WiFi in the past and the connection speeds are about 1.5 of the speed of a normal Ethernet connection.

In Guelph we have Hotspots (charge for service) The Second Cup Starbucks (both chains, Second Cup is Canadian owned) And a few others. We also have Freespots (don't charge) The Bookshelf (local establishment downtown) William's Coffee Pub (chain) When I travel, the hotels I stay in all have wi-fi. I have it built into my computer, and it works brilliantly! Connection speed is very good.

LIkewise, here we have Starbucks and Coffee bean. However, the hotels are quite 'selfish' as most of them only let the ones who stays in executive suites and above to enjoy the privillege.

I have tried accessing internnet from one laptop to another laptop which is connected to internet. IT was pretty slow in this setup as the bandwidth was shared. But I am sure with proper configuration, it would give optimal speed.

Yes, i do. At the office, we don't use the cable anymore. Everybody's accessing the internet via WiFi. I do recommend this to others. It's fast, not that expensive and most of all, the office looks more tidy. My colleagues and i are very much comfortable using WiFi. You should try to.

I love my wireless connection on my laptop. I have it at home but it also means I can travel with my laptop to the coffee shop, resturants, libraries and university (all of which have wifi). hehe, even whole foods now has wifi!

Wow, that's great for you. Well, not in my country. We have limited places where we get to access the internet via WiFi.
