Have You Ever Had A Discussion Deleted By My Lot?

i have never had one deleted as of yet, i would wonder why myself if id just posted one and it suddenly vanished, if they deleted my old ones then i wouldn't really be bothered because after all they are old news, lol! :)

I have and when I asked, Mylot told me why. I asked a one word question, which I do often, but forgot to add the "why" to it. So it was deleted. It was my bad, so I took it. You said you have seen other posts like yours that was deleted, do you report them? That may make the diffrence as to why they are not deleted. If Mylot does not know they are there, then they can not delete them. Anyway it's frustrating when it happens, I know, but I do think Mylot tries to be fair. Was your post like mine, asking for a one word answer, like "yes" or "no"?

I haven't really took notice if they had deleted any or not. I have such a bad memory I can't remember half the discussions I have started anyhow. The only way I would take notice would be if they sent me a email telling me they did. I do have some I would like deleted though. Well, Good luck hope nothing else of yours gets deleted. As some of the others have stated sometimes it can be caused by glitzes in the system just like when we are posting and it either gives us a white page and stops or tells us to try to post again cause it didn't go though. They'll get the bugs worked out eventually. Have a nice day and happy posting!

uhmmm never had... i thought they did but i just didnt see it... at first it thought because it may have a dupliate but tehn when i tried to search again it still there. maybe its still there... why? what does it contain?

I think it usually means someone reported you. Not sure though. Was it in any way against the guidelines? I don't think I've ever seen you post anything that wasn't well within the rules...

YES I HAVE AROUND 10 OF MY RESPONSES DELETED BUT I NEVER HAD MY DISCUSSIONS DELETED BY MYLOT.THANKS

I havn't yet but the last one I did has a hyperlink and i am new here so I don't know if it is allowed , we will just have to wait and see lol xx

I have not all my discussions have done well. I think you must be careful not to let emotion dictate in the discussion. Sorry to hear if it happened to you.

yes i have had 2 knocked back,but have received realy rude and crude ones come through and they get passed.

I have never had one deleted, but I have a couple I would like deleted if I knew how to I would delete it myself.

If you had used forbidden words you would have gotten red message telling you word was unacceptable. How did you know it had been deleted? Did myLot notify you? Someone must have reported it. I have seen some pretty nasty discussions which would only appeal to perverts.

I don't know the rules for why to delete a discussion or why not but i think it is according to policy that the site managment stick to it,i don't what your discussion talking about but i think it crossed the site's rules. I never had a discussion deleted before because a have a few number of discussions

Im new here and i havent experienced this.what do u think could be the reason?what was the discussion about?I know you have been posting here longer than i am so for sure you know what topics are not allowed right,so how come they deleted it?

All it takes is one or two complaints and mylots deletes it, though you see others get away with it. Sometimes mylots catches "copycatters", those who see's someone's topic go through the roof with responses and then post the same subject for themselves, especially if they had answered the other's question! By far I had one post deleted and it was a political one. So stay away from politics.

As far as I know I haven't, but I can understand some of the ones that I've heard about that have been deleted. However, I've never seen anything that you've posted that seemed in any way inappropriate for the site. What was your deleted discussion about, if you feel able to say so?

No but i have had an answer not publised. Wonder why? Is there some words thats not ok to use?

I am still new but so far, I have not had any deleted that I know of. Did they contact you to tell you it was being deleted or tell you why? I would think they would at least contact you.

I'm so very new yet, but I will keep my eyes open on all my topics, as I've never had any deleted... yet. :)
