how does problems makes us perfect?

problems may bring us sufferings and pain but in those problems we improve and learned the lessons of life.
back then i see problems as a punishment for all your sin but its the other way around.
Problems motivates us to improve and know ourselves more..how strong our faith and how strong we can face every problems that comes our way.
thought not all people realized this some of us may become more failure when problems comes.
now every problems i encountered i see them as my teacher that will teach me who really iam and how far i can let myself develop.
