i have asked months ago a female friend that same question:
"what is the essence of being a woman..?"
according to her, the essence of being a woman, is to procreate.. they had given womb, and so they must take care and nurture the child they will be bearing..
a woman is not complete, or fulfilled, if she cannot bear her own child..
is this true to all gurls?

How about single women? They can't bear a child without men in their lives.

I will quote Miss Universe Sushmita Sen. According to her, the essence of being a woman is being a woman herself. This I strongly agree. And being a woman does not only suggest procreation. For me, it is being able to give man the support he needs emotionally, be a loving individual, oozing with charm and gentleness, having patience and perseverance and compassion for the kids and her husband, and having the strength to continue life's struggles when the goings get tough. This, I believe, is the essence of being a woman.

I remember that answer from Sushmita.
My question is, how about women who's chosen the single life? Will their essence be impaired by that?
