what is network?

Please tell me , I dont know exactly, what is network of PCs...

I'll add.... A network is any number of network compatible devices that are communicating with each other. For example, a PC and a networked printer, a pc and a pc, a pc and a router and any combination of routers, pcs, servers, printers etc that are networked together.
