do u like someone who tells the harsh truth or someone who lies?

i have a friend who is always tells me that i m very smart and i dont need to study or i will do in a test bc i m smart. during the time we r studying she doesnt help much i m explianing stuff more than her ..eventhough the subject we r studying for is her major and she has taken alot of her major classes also she has taken the instructor bfr.. when we studied she made it look like she doesnt know anything and i know everything..and i studied alot..well the next day she told me she stayed up untill 430 at night to study..so we took the test..she told me i would do good bc i studied alot..now i found out that i got a B and she got an A..now that just made me feel so horrible..it made it look like eventhough i studied alot i got B and she only studied for a night she got a B...
i guess my question is would u like a friend who always tell u good things abt u eventhogh they r wronge or the truth even if its bitter?

her words should not make any difference in you.it seems to me that she wanted you not to study good so that she cab score more good mark than you.its happen.in my school there were few jerks who used to pretend same way as your friend did but i used to give them answer in there language.i just can't stand with liar,i really goes out of my mind.bitter truth is much better than pleasing lie .

Well, you know better than anyone what your abilities are. So when you feel you need to study, I would do what was required to get you there even if it meant studying with someone else part of the time.

I have 2 highschool friends are we are friends for more than 16 years. We excercise telling harsh and horrible thing to one of us who made a wrong turn in life.
True friends see worst things in you and stay there in able for you to made your life on the right track, meanwhile a friend like you have described is a friend who is so jealous of your achievement beware of that.
We don't need friends who always compliment us we need friends who will tell us what is wrong with us.

thanx thts what i think too she has been my friend for years now...feels kinda wronge to just cut her off..but thinking of not taking anymore classes with her..or maybe telling her what she is doing..i would really like her to be truthful to me..even if its bitter or harsh
