Can anybody Tell me about free downloadable Talking Dictionary for english (so that we can hear the pronunciation of words)

I'm not sure of a free one, but I have the Franklin talking dictionary and it is quite nice! As far as reading software that has a free trial, I know of www.readplease.com but it doesn't always pronounce the harder words correctly.

It has a dictionary, thesaurus, and learning feature (plus games). Everything on it helps you to learn new English words. Most words that it can provide a definition for, it can also pronounce for you. I really like it. Back when I got it, it was a bit over $100 US dollars. But now I'm sure you could buy either this model or even a newer one for much less.
