Here most of our mylot users iv seen responding to questions like do you wake up early?do you eat breakfast?should dogs bark?and it is very funny that people put up such questions and others are ready to answer.I always make sure I reply to people who are feeling sad or needs some advice to solve their problem. They are the one's who most need our response.Ofcourse I do answer funny questions but I give first preferance to answer those who need real help and if my solution could solve their problem,it is a credit to me.
Alright how do you go about choosing what you must respond to?

I completely agree with you. I have been going to the discussion section that doesn't have any answers looking for topics from people that are seeking help or advise. It makes me feel good that I might be helping someone. Especially if it is something that I have either gone through or advise that I have sought in the past. Loved your question. Good luck to you here at mylot.

Its all about whether the topic is really worth the trouble of being replied to.....
As you rightly said, anout the bogus topics that come up here and there... NAh!! they ain't worth it....
rather reply to topics which are seeking solution out from some sort of a trick situation... use your ideas and experience to come with soemthing useful.... advice with all your rationality....
respond to topics which mean something.....
which may explore some hobby of yours maybe.....
but in general, I definitely do try and reply to topics which actually make me stop and think!!
Else, this place would have been as good as Orkut......
IF this is better, its better for the quality of discussions and i believe its upto us to uphold that status!!

Well it depends, bcoz what the person intends and how he creates his need to be anwered.
Though it may or may not be crazyone but if mind makes me to answer then that's what the reason I reply with possibilities and partialities of answer.

For me it depends. If I feel I can offer something, then I will try. But if I feel like it's over my head or someone else has answered with my answer, then I won't.
