Why people are getting addicted to INTERNET??

Now a days people are getting more and more addicted to internet.. They are doing less work of office and more of there own personal work throught internet like internet shopping,Banking, Booking tickets, Making friends and many more..

like cellphones it is becoming a neccessity or should i say it is now a need. it makes the world smaller but it is not without consequences (pros and cons)
