Do you wear eyeglasses or do you prefer contacts?

What kind of eyeglasses do you wear, wire-frame or plastic? Are they tinted? Do you think you look better without glasses. Do you wear them all the time or just for reading? I wear eyeglasses all the time now, but when I was younger wore contacts sometimes.

I started wearing glasses when I was 12 years old. But there was a period of more than 10 years when I switched to wearing lenses. However, I encoutered problems with it and the most serious was when my cornea was scratched by it and I couldn't see for a few days. Not long after I recovered from it I decided that it is safer to wear specs. I do not think so much about whether I look good in glasses or not but if I have to buy or change them, I will choose those that looks okay with my face shape. Maybe now I have reached a certain age where I am not so concerned about looking gorgeous but just presentable.
