Is MARRIAGE now a days still important for couples?

If only other people saw marriage as you do. My grandparents have been married 51 years and my parents have beem married 31 years. They have managed to forgive each other and prosper over the many trials they have faced. If couples would be completely sincere and honest before getting married I imagine the rate of divorces would be less. Not because they would know everything about each other, but because if they had full disclosure, some of the ones who might have been divorced later, might reconsider getting married at all!The rules of being honest and faithful seem so simple so me, but I guess if just one of them forgets that, then the other's choices can be limited. I know a lot of preachers who won't marry a couple unless they have premarital counseling. And a lot of couples who do that end up finding things out they would never have known until after the marriage. I like the iniative in my state where your marriage license is like 5 dollars if you go to premarital counseling. Yes, I still believe marriage is sacred. And I pray that more people will begin to feel the same way. If society paid less attention to what people on TV and movie are doing, they might begin to gravitate that way again.

I believe that marriage is still important today! Well, I'm just maybe a believer in God and a believer in my religion. In our faith living without the blessings of the Lord is a sin. So for me marriage is important for making a good family.

its just official and you have to marry one some day and if you don't want then its upto you anyway i will get married one day. Now your question it should be done so that you are honored i public otherwise they will see that person with other eye.

I believe marriage is sacred and not an assurance.
