well a database is called as a large volume of well defined collection of data...it stores a large amount of data ranges in some giga to tera bytes...these database concept is used to store a large data in server side,a data is called as information of any type....DBMS is called as the way we store a large data in database and the procedures or techniques used to access or retrieve the data from the data base.rdbms refers to the relative dbms.its a new concept
