myLots stars and the numbers / myLot

can someone explain for this newbie how the star system works. What do the numbers mean and what do the different colours mean?

hi there, the stars are a rating from what mylot users rate your discussions and responses either + or -. the different colours is your an 8, the highest star is a 10 and the numbers inside is just for example mine is 88 out of 100 so im guessing that means percent! hope this helps!
