Will you follow your dream or face reality?

I have chosen Journalism as my course in college. But sometimes I doubt if I am made for my course. You see, I have been passionate about art for so long. Although my insercurities about my talent kick in sometimes but that's normal I guess. And the truth is, artists don't make as much especially in the Philippines where artists are literally downgraded to starving bums. But I also want to be a lawyer. And the practical thing to do was to choose something relatively connected to law like Journalism. Don't get me wrong, I like to write. But not as much as I like to draw. Do you think I should've followed my dream or continue to face reality?
