When I'm feeling like a cold is comming on, I'll start to drink green tea with honey and a drop of lemon, take some vitamin C tablets, a couple of aspirins and go to bed earily

you mean sick as in getting the flu? i'd take a lot of rest, and drink a cup of tea with lemon and honey. this is an excellent home remedy to stop flu --- for me, at least.

When ever i feel sick, i would try to avoid going outside in cold, generally where i am living it is a colder place, also i wwould prefer eating and drinking hot foods and hot drinks like tea and coffee. i take a tylenol or advil tablets which would genrally relieve me from my flu in three day or less.

As soon as I start feeling ill I mix 20-30 drops of Usnea extract in warm water and drink it 3-4 times a day. It usually works wonders. If I do this as soon as I start feeling a bit stuffy, it rarely has a chance to develope into a cold.

That is what I take too. I also have the rest of my family do this if they seem to be coming down with something. It sure helps, if I do end up getting a cold, to cut the length of it in half.

I drink hot echinachea tea and take a zinc pill. I've heard Airborne works really well for helping to prevent the onset of a cold and for getting rid of one faster.
