do you believe in ghosts??

my subject itself defines what i want to refer to in this discussion. When i was kid i feared of ghosts.even now also i have this unkown fear.but in my entire life time i have never encountered any such creature.am still confused whether something called ghosts exist or not????? there are so many stories regarding ghosts.....mostly related to villages and lonely abandoned places.... white house is also because of the stories linked to ghosts of Abraham Lincon and many other governing bodies who recided there. are these creature really do exist???? do you believe in life after death. has anybody of you ever seen any ghost????/
