Well, in my case, I would like to have a son when I grow old. If in the unfortunate event that I cannot get married *knocks on wood*, it will be perfectly fine for me to adopt. That way, I help someone and I don't feel lonely and alone when I age. =)

I will adopt thousands of childs but dont say that i will not marry. No discrimination, i will adopt boys and girls both.

If I am only rich, I want to build an orphanage for out of school youth and abondoned children. Anyway, if someday you are rich, contact me so that we can build an orphanage. hahaha. But for my own, I just want to have one or two children for me to be able to take care of them very much with full atention and love.

Yes, I also want one child but i can adopt thousands of child those have not parent. If i will have so much money....hahahahaha

If I were single and didn't want to marry, I wouldn't want to have kids so I wouldn't adopt. Until the day that I feel alone and feel that a child would make a difference in my life then maybe then.

i've always wanted to adopt a child. i've been thinking about it since i lived in a foster home in my early teens. i've always wanted to adopt an older child even one in their teens because they don't get as many chances as babies do. i'm still planning on it. i'm just waiting to get a bigger house and a good job and a little more experience in raising older children. my daughter is just 3 so i think i'll be doing it in about 10 years or so. i'm also not married and don't plan to marry but if i'm still cabable to take care of a child i don't see why i shouldn't adopt. why not give someone with no parents at least one.

I am married and have a son on my own and we're hopefully having another one very soon.
I have always felt called by God to adopt. My husband is not as keen on the idea because he wants kids of our own, but he's a sensitive and carring man and I hope that eventually he'll come around. I think he sees adoption as a way for people who can't have kids for one reason or another to be able to have them. He doesn't realize how many orphans are out there in the world. Not just babies need a home.
I hope that one day we can provide a stable home for a child who needs one.

I understand what your husband feel. Even my mom, don't want me to adopt a child, because she wants me to have my own family. It is my dream to build an orphanage for the children who needs home, and love. Those who are unfortunate in having a family.

Well I really would love to adopt, but sometimes people just cant afford another child but god willing I move up in life and I think that wneh I do I am willing to adopt a child. But if I am going to do that I would have to be married!

I will consider adoption if I dont get married or i cant have a baby naturally.There are so many children that needs a good home.As it was said he/she may not be born in me but a child of my heart.

If ever i decide not to get married or give birth at all,i dont think i would adopt one..but if i got married and wouldnt be able to get pregnant i might consider adopting a child.
