I was wondering if any of you have kids who are terrified of Santa. My girl who is 8 had always been scared of him. She says its his beard but...her dad has a beard too...just not white. Once I brought her to a store and wanted her to take a picture with santa on his lap and she yelled so loud the dead could have woken up! Till this day, she still dislikes him.....which i find kindda weird. Her brother is fine with santa. He even knows he's not "real" and has tried telling her that but she wont hear it.

My kids have really shocked me on Santa. I just knew they would be freaked out by him but no they absolutely adore Santa. We have never had any tears and Santa has never been shunned by my kids. I guess some kids are okay w/certain thing and some not so much. As a child I was deathly afraid of clowns...in fact they still unnerve me!

clowns are the other thing my 8yr old hates. She said they look evil so as long as she has a party to go to and she knows there will be a clown, she almost always goes into the house to "hide" while mr clown does whatever he is supposed to do

I have twin six year old girls and a four year old son and all three of them are petrified of Santa. it really sucks because unlike the rest of the family i have no photos of my children with santa. I hope i get one before they stop beliving in the magic of santa

I dont know where my son got the idea that santa was not real. I sure as hell didnt tell him! Think it must have been tv or something. I used to tell them that they had to go to bed early and that santa would come and put their pressies in the little pillowcase that was at the foot of their bed.
