just recently my fiance and i talked about the possibility of us not being pregnant in the natural method. and i told him that i would go for artificial insemmination just to have the baby that we want and been praying for. of course, the sperm would be his considering that he is (soon) my husband. i am really not against sperm donations but i hope for married couples, they make it a parameter that only a husband's sperm be given. if the husband's sperm is the one that has an abnormality, i suggest that couples who would opt to have a sperm donated by a stranger go through intensive counseling so that they will be ready for what it might bring into their marriage. i feel it is really a big blow against the husband and it will allow a lot of insecurities to surface. for single women, i know they might have their personal reasons of getting sperm donations to impregnate themselves but i see it so abnormal. but i wouldn't condemn them for that.
