Why is the world going downhill??

Yes, we are only human, but we as human being have evolved so much overtime and therefore we are capable of so much. The thing that gets to me the most about people as a whole is that you hear people complaining about the world as we know it today, how everything is going, what is happening, not liking our president, and yet that's all we do. Sit back and complain instead of seeing what there is to do. One person is not capable of going out and saving the entire world, but starting small is a start. Do things that you know will influence others around you. Such as, volunteer for your community by possibly cleaning up around the town. Perhaps others will follow suite. If you see someone in need stop along the way to help them out however you can. This in turn might cause a chain reaction. Or tell that person that they way they can pay you back is to return the favor to someone else they see in need. This method was known as "Pay It Forward" starting small might not seem like much but then again, it's like the snowball effect. You start out with a small handful of snow and you keep rolling and rolling until you have yourself a snowman. If we were to all try and do things like this, it may not solve all of our wordly problems but I think it would definitely make a major impact.
