Would you prefer men/women who are virgins over those who are not?

Most people have split opinions regarding this topic of discussion. Some are just fine with their partners not being virgins anymore when they get to know them. Others just freak out when they found out that the one they love isn't a virgin anymore. Yet, there are some people who gets disappointed with virgin men/women. If asked, would you prefer your partner to be a virgin or not?

For men, it matters. I think men should not be virgin because it sucks when you don't know anything when you're right in front of your partner. As for my partner, a lady, it doesn't matter for me. Love is the very important aspect that I'm looking at and not the ones like virginity. But having a virgin lady is a bonus for me. Like now with current girlfriend. I dont care if a lady doesn't know anything because she can learn from me.

I respect your opinion anne. It was also my own opinion that men is better if he is not virgin so that he'll know what to do. And I didn't say that I am requiring for a woman to be virgin. In fact I said that it is a bonus for me. And I didn't emphasize that I want them to learn from me. I said that I don't care if she doesn't know anything because she can learn from me. "She can" learn I did not say that I want them to learn from me. Please mind the difference of what you're pointing out and to what I'm posting. Thank You!

I think virginity isn't something that is required to have a good relationship. It is just sad that some people see virgin people as incompetent and uberly inexperienced (well okay, in a sense, they are.) But I personally think that virginity shuldn't be used to judge someone. It's just not right.

oh okay so its always alright for men to be not virgins ?i think its better if both partners are virgins so that its fair,if ever one wants a virgin partner.why ask something from a woman when you yourself are not like that..so your girlfriend can learn from you because after all you have LOTS of experiences with different women and makes you an expert on this..sorry for commenting but just want to share opinions on this..happy posting.

Why should it matter if I myself is not a virgin anymore..things like that are not reasons for a person not to like someone..so if you meet someone you just ask them,are u a virgin or not,because i dont like getting into a relationship with someone who has slept with other people already..imagine what kind of slap on the face you will get from that person.

it is no different than the ignorant comment that guy made above. There is prejudice against virgins. I've heard nasty comments, like who likes someone without experience and etc....only the narrow minded think that way. And for men to think there aren't men out there that aren't virgins must be under a rock...come on...
Not everyone is out there screwin' around! And if they are take protection....It's all about being careful, and loving that person...

I can say that for me it doesn't matter if his a virgin or not, what important is what i really feel towards him. I mean you cant tell if the one you fell inlove with is a virgin or non-virgin right? would it make a difference if his/her is not?for me,no..if i love the person that is not a big deal.

That's my take on it too. I fell in love with the person not knowing whether she is a virgin or not. What matters is how I feel towards her. Virginity is really not important in my opinion. =) It's the feeling that counts.

Oh hecccck no! who wants a virgin anyways? funny how we pride ourselves in the inexperienced. besides, really think about this. I have heard of women giving oral, yet they were virgins. and, you know, a 28 year old virgin, or a 30 year old virgin is just too creepy. didn't you see the 40 yr old virgin? funny movie, BTW!

Ahaha.. That's something. =) It really is just a personal preference nowadays. Some want them unscarred, and some doesn't mind at all if they aren't. Thanks for responding!

Everybody wants that. =) I'd like to put it this way. If I had a virgin girlfriend, Great! If she isn't, that's OK. =) The feelings between us are more important than physical state. =)
