Why come out with all these new xp updateds and upgrades if we moving to vista?

whats the difference in xp upgraded and vista program? Is vista a make-over or an over-haul of a dying os? What can I expect from vista that will make my life different from the xp lifestyle.

You see, you can't run windows vista on every system because it requires 800mhz processor and 512MB RAM. Moreover, if you buy a new OS you'll have to pay the full amount but if you buy a service pack, you have to pay less. Vista is better into organising your work into groups, searching, security and guides the user when he tries to enter a fake site.
