Why is it that we spend our hard earned money in stores and restaurants and are treated so badly. Not to say this happens every time. I have also received outstanding help on a few occassions. I was just wondering if anyone ever received such bad service either in a store or restaurant that they complained. If you did what happened and how was it handled?

Mne actually. My internet was accidentally disconnected by another ISP service who connected my neighbors and as a mock up they used my ISP cabling instead of running new wires.
Well 7 full days of pure havoc, in trying to get my ISP service to come and repair the job. I get a call on day six asking how I like the service. What service it is 6 days you have not come out and I am still without internet. Oh sorry about that madam, and I do not know why no one has been out, best I can tell you is that you should call in the morning and complain.
So why on earth would I be called if I liked the service performance in my home when you have no clue why I need service to begin with. What a long lived 7 days, but after persisting 3 - 4 times a day, I finally received my repairs and am up and running. Talk about bad customer service. ![](/Content/images/emotes/angry.gif)

I went into a bank with 2000 euro to put into savings. The girl on the reception desk told me that if I put 1000 euro into one account that paid 1% interest and 1000 euro into another account that paid 2% interest that I would be getting 3%. I tried to explain about averages, but she just became angry. How can people with no arithmetic skills get a job in a bank?

The worst customer service was with Bell Expressvu. I called to have a reciever hooked up and was told I needed a new smartcard and that it would be here within a week. Well 2 weeks go by and nothing so I call them again and the I am told it was never sent because there is a $70 charge for a piece of plastic that I was not told about. Then I was told that I could rent a recorder receiver for $10/mth and so I decided to wait because didn't have the deposit amount for the reciever. I called the next day to order the reciever only t find out that it was going to cost me $75 for some geek to plug in the cords to the reciever(I could have done this myself). I was so mad that day I went to the Starchoice site and bought the reciever & dish for $74.13 and that includes installation.
Well a couple days later a guy from bell expressvu calls me and asks me what happened so I tell him the story and he offers me free installation and I tell him I already paid for the starchoice equiptment and he says well what if Igive you a month free? I just told him all I wanted was for him to waive teh 30day notice to cancel my account. He did that but he also said if I ever want to go through them the deal he offered me will still be sitting there. I really like th way he handled the problem.
The only restaurant I had any problems in was Poston Pizza in Rocky Mountain House alberta. My aunt and I went in one day to have a drink and wait for her car to be fixed and we sat there for 15 minutes before getting up and leaving because the waitress didn't even try to come to ourtable and she had gone into the kitchen 3 times and seen us everytime she came back out to he tables. We just left instead of trying to get service out of them.
