A few months ago we bought a kitten from the animal shelter. Almost from day one this cat has a weird way of playing. I have never seen another cat do this, and I've had a lot of cats in my life! He will bite one of the kids Lego's or any other toy that will fit in his mouth and carry it up the stairs *we have hardwood stairs* and purposely drop them to chase them down the stairs. When it reaches the bottom, he will carry it back up the stairs and start all over!! Does anyone else have a cat that will do this?

My cat Fern thinks she's a dog. Seriously! You throw a ball, she will go catch it, and bring it back to you in her mouth. I have never seen another cat do this before! LOL She does this with a couple of other things, too.. like if you take pipe cleaner or a twist tie, and bunch it up so she can bat it around with her paws. If you flick it so it flies really far, she will run after it, and sometimes bring it back to you with her teeth/mouth. It's so cute!!

My cats do the same thing with my childs toys or sometimes we give them the ring thats on the gallon milk containers and they love them. My 5 year old loves when they do this she laughs so much.

He loves to play with those milk container rings too! It's funny to watch him!

No, my cat doesn't do that. But I did enjoy reading about what your cat does. Ilove to watch kittens/cats play. My cats always had toys to play with, but they didn't want the ones I spent big bucks on, they wanted to play with things that were already in the house or yard. A blade of grass, a paper sack, chase a light from the flashlight, water dripping from the tub. Thanks for sharing your kitty story.
