is homework a burden to children???????

after reading the diaryentry of my my brother i became quite sad.the lines written in his diary are as follows:- all work no time to play no time to watch tv. STILL NOT COMPLETED.....

i think its a burden you spend 8 hours in school doing work then they try to give you more work to do at home and by the time you finish the homework its time to eat dinner and get ready for bed all school work should be done in school not at home
