AlertPay is a canada based online payment processor, or ecurrency. Its sth like the paypal system, easy, secure and cheap in using it.
http://www.alertpay.com/?Bzc8Nzs2Aw%3d%3d
You could add fund to your alertpay account with e-gold, and sometimes its FREE.
You could cash out your e-gold by cheque through alertpay, so no need to find another exchanger.
A nice system.

well i wont cash out e-gold via cheque, mainly through local exchangers (you know renminbi our local currency is always facing revaluation, so dont like usd or euro that much. but i also always tried moneybookers and neteller for that purpose.)
check out this section here:

they could assure your e-gold security!
you must have a firewall, anti virus, trojan and keylogger systems, and dont use IE.

I got an alertpay account, and its ok in using it.
But didnt try to withdraw by a cheque, cause it could be very slow to get the money.
But members can cash out your alertpay money to e-gold at 4% fee.
