How does mylot pay system work???

I started the day at $0.1 and 7 posts. But just before the earnings update, I had written about 16 more posts. None of my posts were 1 liners or out of context. I wrote atleast 40-50 words( I guess so, even though i didnt keep a count). But still I got just $0.04 in the latest update. thats $0.04 for 18 posts!! How is it possible?? I had read that the minimum pay is $0.01 for each meaningfull post. So my account balance should atleast be at $0.26!! Can someone clear this confusion and has anyone faced such a problem before??
