Data recovery from a CD ???

I have one big problem. Yesterday I was puting my personal CDs whith pictures on it in order. At a moment I found one that had no case. Meanwhile I was looking for its case, I accidentaly hit it to my desk and a part of it broke out. There were some family pictures on it, nothing really important, but is it possible to get beck the remaining data on it? I would like some advise that isn't so costly ?
