Confidetial messages?

Well i didnt really get your question, do you mean by the use of these messengers (yahoo or AOL) whether your messages stay confidential or not?. it you asked that then i would say certainly not as they also go in some database and from there any authorized person can see your chat or even hackers dont mind reading anyone's chat, you know ... :D
