I am 100% pro life ! I was just wondering how people can just go out one day and have an abortion done, some women use it as birthcontrol. Why do they not feel for that tiny life ? I would never bash anyone who had it done, I am focused on prevenshion. I lost a baby, and nothing has hurt worse, infact at 5 mo i was life threatningley sick but i chose to let nature run its course. Yes, I would have died before I wold have had a medical abortion!

I think the people who use abortion as birthcontrol are not only not thinking about that unborn life I don't think they are thinking about themselves. I had an abortion years ago and looking back now can honestly say it was the worst thing I have ever or will ever do. I try to say it's in the past, I was different then but it haunts me 30 years later. I did it though and will have to live with it - my heart goes out for any and all who have made the same mistake I did.

Like you I too had an abortion almost 25 years ago, and there is no doubt I will hurt deeply from that act for the rest of my life. To this day I will sit and cry for that baby that I "deleted". An act I have found almost immosible to forgive myself for. My heart also goes out to all who have been there as we have and are hurting, it don't go away. To all those who read this who may be considering an abortion, there are other optionsa that are much easier to live with, adoption helps both the baby and a couple who want a baby and cannot have one.

That is a good way to think and i also had a misscarriage when i was actually only 17. Thankfully i was only 9 weeks and not that far into my pregnancy. I have to say that losing that child hurt more than anything and i for one would never have an abortion but everyone thinks differently!

I think what you have said is right Nowadays the girls are corrupted and they get into such situations and they ll find their way such as this type cause they think that the life inside them are threatening and they ll kill them so they get into such act without thinking they are killing a life. As per me such type of girls have to be punished such that they ll not do such daring thing anytime.

You are truly a wonderful person. There are not many women who would give their life for their unborn child. You would be a wonderful mom. If you do not have children yet,I sure hope you do one day because that child will be very fortunate to have a mommy with so much love in her heart.

I am pro life also! hey! do you know that when you get pregnant, that is your fault and not the baby's fault. Then, you will abort your baby, you will not give him a chance to see a wonderful world we have now. Yeah, there are problems but in fact there are things that are wonderful in these world, like LOVE.

And what about the child who is abused because he was unwanted? Or the mother who didn't have an abortion, wouldn't put him up for adoption and then neglected him. Please see my post on this. It's NOT always a rosey world.

To me,it is a personal choice that should only be made by the woman, and a choice not to be taken lightly. No pro-life people, or the goverment should be able to tell us what we can or can not do with our bodies, and if it right or wrong. Now, I have not stated if I have, or would do it, also how I feel about others who have done it, or why they would not do it. It is not my place to judge others with such a personal choice.

Me too... I have to ask myself: How is is okay to involve politics when it comes to aborting a fetus without looking at the larger scope of fertility and fertility 'options'... so often these days women are having babies conceived in petri dishes, doctors implant sometimes 4 embryos and when 3 of them thrive, they do a 'selective reduction'... that is 'selective abortion'... There is a bigger issue out there... people's rights to choose parenthood, whatever that means for them. I don't think it's right to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to have an embryo implanted and then aborted, but who am i to say a group made up mostly of older, white men (our govornment) should tell that woman what to do? Women have always had, and will always terminate unwanted pregnancies, the issue is making them safe and legal.

Im pro life as well and it shocks me whenever someone I know gets an abortion. In the 1st place, if they dont wanna have a baby they should just be 'responsible' so they wont get pregnant. Its just depressing nowadays that abortion happens frequently nowadays.

I have no idea how people can choose to use abortion as a method of birth control .I am thinking it is the ultimate in stupidity . I have a cousin who chose to do this twice. I am thinking you have to shove hard on your conscience , until the the roar is dull and you can no longer hear it .

I agree with you totally. From my understanding from studying the Vedas, life (consciousness) is present at the moment of conception. That life as taken shelter of a woman's womb for a reason, and to destroy that life has it's repurcussins. The proof of life being there in the womb is in the growing of the body. A body does not live, or grow, if there is no consciousness within it. The embroyo is not a cancer to be destroyed, it is a life, that will grow and develop, and someday reproduce and contribute in the way they are meant to. It is not our place to interfere with these things. Doing so reaps serious consequences upon ourselves. It is written that those who so recklessly end the lives of innocents will themselves never see the light of day, as they same fate will befall them. Don't give up, there is a soul out there who wants you to be it's mother.

My sincere congratulations on your attitude. I'm generally more to the left than to the right (well, culturally, maybe) but I don't support the left regarding abortion. I don't think that someone who has an abortion should be punished by the law but I still don't believe that abortion should be legalized. I happened to have followed my son's (eight years old now) development when he was inside his mother's uterus (sp?) and I realized that a fetus isn't just some bit of tissue but life itself - I still remember him, 10 weeks old at the the time, 5 com wide, jumping and playing inside his mom as if he were riding a bycicle! And I do remember his heart beat. Now, some may say there are dramatic situations et all, but I'll say contraception is so common these days, and there's so much information, why not spend the money they would spend on legal abortions in education and prevention? That would be so much better!

I don't believe that there are a lot of people who look at the baby in the womb as a living breathing creature of God. If they thought about the fact that if their mom had decided to get a abortion they would not even be here. Think about that. If you want to play there are enough preventions out there in this day and age to keep from getting pregnant in the first place. Why should a little child have to be punished by being gotten rid of before the little one had a chance to come into this world and live.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. But the fact is that, women naturally do not have the urge for procreation, just as God does not and did not need man or woman to populate HIS world. When a woman is pushed to the edge or decides the father of her unborn child is irresponsible, she can very easily get rid of her child (although she could have very easily prevented the pregnancy with mere precaution).

it must be a tough decision for mothers to be to do such a thing, others really think they are not going to pay for killing a baby, too helpless to prevent such acts.

I belive that if God had not wanted you to get pregnant and have a baby you would have. And he didnt want you to you wouldnt. If you lost a baby, somehow that was in Gods plan. Abortion is murder any way you cut it and I to would die before taking the life of my child.

I completely agree with you. It breaks my heart when I hear women having an abortion, even moreso if it's not their first. I know it's not an easy decision for them, but I would never be able to kill a fetus. I once saw a bumper sticker that read, "Smile! You weren't aborted." And I did smile.. people don't think that way. They think it's not a living being, when it absolutely is.

Its a life NOT a choice. This is my belief for sure! I believe in life and life alone. God created each life in the womb and I believe NOONE should have it done! Its wrong to kill. Adopt let the life live on. Those who say that its not a baby till its born are insane! The heart, the hands, its all started the day God made it. Check out Psalm 139 it talks all about God creating babies in the womb. DONT kill Gods creation! Its murder not a choice!
