Have u guys ever felt during exam times, a strong urge to do anythng but study!! I usually feel a strong urge to read a book which is a part of the syllabus, But has nothing to do with next day's exam. Like wanting to read english curriculum even though u hav a maths exam the next day.

sure this happens to me all the time...
i tend to want to listen to music, watch movies, sleep more, talk on the phone more....anything as long as its not a text book....
seems that we tend to do only stuff that will not help us before an exam...

Ya very true. Also once exams r over all these activities seem very boring.

I think it must be human nature. I haven't been in college in a few years, but I do understand what you mean. I never wanted to study when the time came. I would find hundreds of other things to do. Then the day of the exam I would cram for a few hours before the exam. I always did good on them too. It was the adrenaline flow of the cram that awakened my brain cells. Anyway I graduated with a 3.90 average so I guess I did something right!
