Have you decided where you are going on holiday this year?

We are thinking of a trip to Goa (our first visit to India), perhaps at the end of the year, plus a short break to Rome around Easter.
Nothing is final - we are still looking at brochures and reading the guide books.
Where is everyone else intending to go on holiday?

If all goes right we would like to go to Prince Edward Island . We were supposed to go there when we got married but our honeymoon money was stolen on us , so we never got to go . Ever year we talk about going and taking the children with us but something always comes up and we don't get to go . Last year I took the children to New Brunswick and loved it there . My best friend moved up there and so I don't get to see her very often and maybe this is why I enjoyed it even more .

That's dreadful about your honeymoon money! I hope you do get to go and have a great time.

I sadly have no money, so think it may have to be camping and surfing in Cornwall. Actually this is my idea of a fantastic holiday so doesn't bother me that i can't afford to go abroad, i still haven't found anywhere in the world with a better coastline than Cornwall

I've had friends who've been camping to Cornwall and they enjoyed it very much. I'm afraid I've never been camping - I enjoy my creature comforts too much!

It's always a good idea to explore the attractions near where you live - but people seldom do this!

It's been a long time since I have seen my family. So, I have been saving my internet earnings so I can take a trip up there in July. My niece is very excited because for years we celebrated our birthdays together. She turns 21 this year. My girls want to attend the anime convention at the Meadowlands too! Let's just hope I make enough money to go!

Puerto rico is in the carribean, right? So I'm guessing a lot of sun and pristine beaches. Lucky you!

No big travel plans for us this year I am afraid. We will take pack horses to the mountains for abit like we do every year. I love the solitude. We are luck to be so near the mountains.
We ride 2 or 3 days into the bush and then we have wall tents that we camp in. It's like being a pioneer.

Are you near the Rocky Mountains then? Wow. I guess you wouldn't want to go away if you were near scenary like that.

My brother and his wife are coming over to visit us in Scotland this year. We are going to show them some of our favorite places in the Highlands and Islands. We are on a tight budget so we will be taking day trips.

I've been to Edinburgh and Glasgow, but never to the highlands. This thread is making me realize just how much of the world I haven't seen!

I'm going to the Gulf side of Florida. Probably around Sarasota. I love to spend time soaking up the sun at the beach and boating. We usually charter a 50 to 60 foot sailboat for half a day and sail down the coast. There are also some great restaurants in the area. The night life is good too.

A sailing holiday does sound idyllic. I've never visited Florida. I might put it on my list of places to visit.
