which is most developed city in INDIA???

everyone's biased. they're only choosing the city they're from. I'm not from India but I've been to loads of cities in India and the real factors are things like literacy, education, roads, economy, percentage below poverty line, etc etc the fact that New Delhi has a metro and Bombay has the stock exchange doesn't make a difference at all. If you consider all the factors above, Bangalore is the most developed city in India. Argue all you want, but please make an informed argument. Also for all those people who chose Bombay, just to let you know that 46% of Bombay's population lives in slums. That's a verified fact and that contradicts this thread's discussion for the most developed city :)

well ..this question's answer rather depends on the city u stay instead of the actual question....i stay in hyderabad and i obviously will write it to be hyderabad....a very few honest answers expected......

I thought in terms of technologies (IT) Gurgaon or Bangalore. And in terms of overall development, Delhi is most developed.

Yeah Mumbai..but as we compare with roads n all cleanliness I prefer Chandigarh. Here in mumbai its hard to find out such clean places with fresh air without pollution.

i also think its Bombay or rather we should say Mumbai as its new name.

I haven't seen all, so its difficult to answer, but certainly among all those I have seen, Mumbai seems to be cool and happening.

I think it is Mumbai of course , but now Mumbai has come to a saturation point , Pune .. is now developing equally fast .. and has scope for development too

I will say its Delhi because We have got metro in Delhi... Its a business head of India.... Delhi NCR's are developing too fast.... Also Delhi university is the Biggest university in Asia. Roads of Delhi are much better them mumbai what do you think?
