What do I do if I fall behind?

You just did it. You replied to everyone and I with your enormous points total it would be practically impossible to add to your total if you spent all your time being nice to everyone who responded.

Well I have stopped posting discussions and only reply back to people I might post a discussion a couple times a week but I have found this works out alot better and it gives you more time. You probably have more friends now too so that could be part of it to.

Why do you have such a compulsive need to reply back to everyone? I feel like most people don't even check back after they reply to a discussion to see if there was a comment made. I'd just move on. It seems odd that someone would feel guilty about not responding to someone's post on the internet.

ok.. it does happend with me also todaya lso noe one answers the posts of me.. but in case what happens with me is .. we are in t arich world of thoughts and we thinksabt urselfs only

No worries. I don't think any of us can totally catch up unless you stay online and type 24/7. You can only do as much as you can do each day. I still have several things to reply to and will probably never get caught up on it. Just do whatever you can each day and roll with the flow is what I try to do.

I put off responding to others until I know that I've responded to every one who's replied to my posts. It's a sacrifice, but I know that it's a good thing to do.

If you have over five hundred replys what are you going to do you will never catch up. That happen to me one time i had had a 500 replys, I got to them when I could. another thing just rate every discussion. that helps. at least you know you reated them.

just keep posting quality post and you are in the right track.

Just the idea of posting a discussion where you explain why it´s hard for you to reply to everyone who made a comment is a nice way of letting people know why not everybody might get an answer. I´m sure everybody who commented will understand your reasons. You can´t be a slave of your computer,can you.

It's good of you to want to leave a comment on every response, but sometimes it's not necessary and not possible either. You can make sure you rate every response and leave a comment only on those that need one. That's what I do. I don't reply to everybody unless they ask a question or need a comment. Maybe you should do that too. It will not hurt anybody as long as your are reading and rating every response.

I try my best but it can be hard. I take care of my granddaughter until 3:30 almost everyday because her Mom can't afford daycare. I might get alittle time in after but usually I am so wiped I just want to lie down for an hour. After that I start preparing supper so when my hubby gets home at 6:30 or 7:00 it is pretty fresh. Last weekend I didn't spend alot of time online as usual as we had my granddaughter for the weekend. If I don't get alot of answers I try to reply to them all but if I post something and get an overwhelming response I try my best but some of them will basically say the same thing so I don't respond again. I make sure I rate every answer though. I think that is very important.

i think first cope up with the upcoming discussions and then try to comment the older once and once you finish responding to newer once you need to go for a older once and try to answer as much as possible and not all cause if all need to be responded it might land up seriously busy in your time schedule so try to cope with the new and then try remaining.

I feel the same as you . I can't keep up with posts let alone responses. I think everyone is trying to post as much as they can before the end of this month. I guess I catch up when I catch up. It's not for lack of trying though!!! :)

I am in the same boat. I am so far behind. I have not been on mylot long so I was not expecting this last day of the month spirt of discussions. Does this happen on the last day of every month? I am trying hard to catch up. Good luck

Margie just keep posting in your own good time that is all you can do Catch up on the Responses and do everything else later but don't worry to much about it I will have that Problem next week as I am moving so I will be of the Net from Friday to Tuesday night so I will be in the same Situation

Ok, the white screen strike for a 3rd time. Let me try this one more time... I try to check the responses as they come in, if I am online. I read all the responses and rate and or answer them. I haven't had a day off since I started here so mine haven't gotten behind. It's hard to keep going back and forth but to me it's more like a discussion that way. Don't feel bad, you can't let it get you down. I think your friends understand that you will get to them eventually. I don't respond to every comment, just the ones that warrent some sort of response. In the morning or whenever I log on after sleeping, I first check my discussions, rate and respond. Then I go on to other people's discussions. Luckily I don't usually get an overwhelming amount of responses so it's not that big of a problem. But I can see where you would have trouble keeping up with all your's...lol anyone would...Oh heck we do what we can, don't let it get you down, just keep plugging away.

I try my darndest of rating and responding to my responders. It takes alot of time-- I actually stopped posting new discussions and started responding more to other peoples. I like it when people respond to my response so I try to do the same- I might not respond but I always rate!

I am still doing my best trying to keep up with my posts responses also! I think that the only thing that you can do is devote different times to do your posting, your responding and your own commenting! You will figure it out i know you can your one too look up to here!

I dont even try to keep up as its just impossable! I only get online for a couple of hours each week so i just do the best i can!

Don't worry about it.Do what you can . I try to answer everyone but I can't always do it.
