A couple years ago, after my doctor offered me a sample, I began taking Bextra for the pain associated with fibromyalgia. Within a few days I began having problems sleeping because the drug caused me to have terrible night sweats (no, it wasn't menopause) and I would wake up just drenched in sweat. As time went on, even the least exertion would cause the same problem. Have you taken Bextra (it is now off the market) and did you have any side effects?

Sounds like the same problems I experienced. The sleeping and night sweats were an on going problem. I'm told that a side affects are Hypertension, dizziness,Gastrointestinal disorders,Muscloskeletal disorder (possible neart muscle damage),and Respritory disorders. Of course it depends on the dosage and how long taken but any long term use can result and one or several of these. If you took it for any lenght of time you should consult with a doctor and a lawyer that is part of the on going law suits.

I took it for pain related to arthritis.
I didn't take it for very long, and I am not sure it did anything to help me. I still have the bottle, because I never finished the prescription.
They game Skelaxin as a muscle relaxant at the same time, and that didn't do anything either. So i decided to change my diet and exercise habits instead, and it seems to be doing more good than either of those pills ever did.
