Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars....?

I think they do this because they can. Of course it might be because they have a pocket full of quarters with nothing better to do with them. Of course it could be that their brother owns the telescope, and they are trying to keep him from going broke from buying telescopes to place on top of tall buildings. Anyone else have any theories?

So they can see even farther.
