I loved it in Krakow with its historic architecture and charming looking streets. The main square has a hall with many souvenirs. I like you might like to stay in a centrally located guest house. I remember visiting Zakapane and a stunning lake near it. I went to the concentration camps near Krakow and it was sad but moving. The train system is cheap and I got someone to write what I wanted in Polish. I wanted second class but I always got given first class on the train.

If this is your first time to Cracow I would probably stay in the old town. There are plenty of hotels/ hostels there. For a list of things to do check out www.krakow-poland.com it has a top 10 list of things to see while in Krakow.

We ideally if you are going to stay in Cracow then you need to choose between the old town and Kazimierz (the old Jewish district) If its your first time I would probably stay in the old town. The website www.krakow-poland.com has a list of the top 10 things to see while you are in Cracow so I would check that out for more info.
